2 Guys 5 Movies presents a the second episode of its new, shorter concept for everyone that doesn't want to hear them drone for two hours about old movies. The trade-off, or benefit if that's your thing, is that you get to hear about one Nicolas Cage movie. This week, Frank recaps 2013's The Frozen Ground.

This week, 2 Guys 5 Movies looks at the blaxploitation films of the early 1970s. The list includes: the Melvin Van Peebles film credited with starting the genre, Sweet Sweetback's Badasssss Song; the Richard Roundtree hit; Shaft, Bingo Long's Traveling All-Stars, starring Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryor, and James Earl Jones; the coming-of-age dramedy, Cooley High; and Yaphet Kotto/Anthony Quinn crime thriller, Across 110th Street. We also discuss many more films from the genre as well.

2 Guys 5 Movies wants to start the new year with something for potential listeners and current listeners with a fresh introduction episode.
